This is a bittersweet moment. Great job Paul. I am sure Fiona could not have enjoyed this moment without her dear partner. This is a sad twist that Paul and Fiona could not be together on top, especially when they have been together every step of the way. To dear Fiona and Paul,
Firstly Fiona warmest congratulations on your magnificent efforts and achievement. Everyone here is very proud of you as I am sure you are of yourself. Paul, I am a great follower in the belief that sometimes things happen which we cannot understand but with hindsight we realise they were ‘meant’ to happen like that. My guess is that within this week you will be up on that summit too. BTW what a gutsy call you made – it really says a lot for your strength of character and self discipline.
With all the very best to you both Anne and PP

Well done! I think it is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!how u decided to climb mt everest! It is so FANTASTIC how u have both got this far, and I wish u both all the best for the future! I really admire your individuallity and interests because they are unique and different! Fiona, you attended the BEST school! I attend Ringwood too! I’m in year eight, and I play the violin, which I love. I did the Eastern Metropolitin Regional Concert last night, and I played Lord Of The Dance, Slavonic Legend and Pirates of the Caribean. It was an absolute blast! It was at Hamor Hall. They said it was a huge hall, which it is, but it was nothing new for me, coz i have performed there twice before. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip Fi and Paul! YOU BOTH DESERVE GOLD MEDALS!!!!!!
